JK the dentist is a dental surgeon providing an exceptional service to its clients in a tranquil setting. Dr. Jan H van Schalkwyk who is experienced in both comprehensive and cosmetic dentistry, heads up this comprehensive approach to dentistry.

DR. JAN

Principal Dentist & Owner

Dr. Jan H. Van Schalkwyk has first hand experience on how the perfect smile can be life changing. He wore braces for five years and his orthodontist inspired him to become a dentist.

He went on to qualify as a dentist in 2001 at the University of Pretoria and achieved the following:

-Won two undergraduate dental research prizes and travelled to the USA for both to present his research papers.

-One of the first exchange students in a dental exchange program with the Catholic University of Nijmegen in the Netherlands

-Top student in Orthodontics and Prosthetics
-SADA leadership award
-Digital Smile Design Certification

-Invisalign Certification
-WCLI Laser Certification
-Cerec CAD/CAM Advanced Certification

-Advanced Botox and Filler Certification
-Masterflux Sedation Certification

Dr. Jan also supports the Freda Hartley home for abused women and children with donations, as well as oral hygiene campaigns, in collaboration with Colgate.

New to the team, Fhatu is an experienced Oral Hygienist ready to treat all our clients and assist with general oral health care.
